This guitar belongs to Bernd Tietzel in Germany. It was previously on our photo page,
but has since changed hands and now belongs to Bernd. He added some new hardware
so it's much more appealing now. The guitar appears to be one that was rescued from the factory before it closed in 76. There is no serial number. However, Bernd tells us it says 74/natural in the pickup cavity. This would indicate the guitar is a 74 and was intended to have a natural finish. However, we have not seen a 74 with an f-hole that large, they are usually smaller unless it is very late 74. Plus it's hard to believe a 74 sat around the factory until the doors closed in 76. And we have never seen an Akkerman that was released with a natural finish. So a bit of a mystery this one. Regardless, it's a great looking guitar and Bernd says it plays fantastic.tail was put there for thecture |

This 74 was bought by Volker in Oct 2004. He got it from a shop in Switzerland. The
guitar is pretty much mint! |

This guitar went up for auction on eBay in April 06. Serial number indicates if is
from November 74. Whereabouts unknown. Nice! |
