This black 74 comes from Barry in Scotland. Barry bought this guitar in 1974 and
is the original owner. He didn't get crazy like most players by making mods. The guitar is all original! He has been playing this guitar for the past 30 years so he had the hardware replated, a refret and nut replacement. |

Here's a nice shot someone sent me of Rik Emmett playing an Akkerman. He had several,
but it looks like this may be his original. This guitar was eventually refinished and most of the hardware replaced. You can see it as it is today here. |
